We named this tire for our friend Nate, who is also quite large and aggressive. This tire has a shred-your-face-off, run-over-anything, kung fu grip knobby tread pattern. The casing is round and supple. Tall, widely-spaced knobs are siped for added grip and compliance. The knobs’ wide spacing means they dig deep and still shed the crap you’re riding through. The tread wraps a little around the sides of the tire, providing good knob contour even on very wide rims, which in turn allows good off-camber traction. Surly's Dummy Rail Collars are nothing more than a simple clamping device that buttresses the connection between your Big Dummy Frame and the Dummy Rails. They increase the stiffness of the interface of these two parts and help keep your cargo from getting its salad tossed… unless of course your Dummy Bags are filled with tossed salad. These are designed specifically for use with the Big Dummy frame and Dummy rails, and will not work with Xtracycle rails. WARNING: Properly installed Dummy Rail Collars are required for carrying live cargo on your Big Dummy.

These two black plates fit nice and snug between the chainstays of the newly redesigned Disc Trucker (2020 and newer), allowing you to bolt on the kickstand of your choice without gravely injuring your frame. Our other silver-colored Kickstand Plates remain the best option for legacy Trucker frames, so please don’t use the old plates with the new bike or the new plates with the old bikes. Surly wants you to be able to set up you ride just the way you want it. This pair of adapter washers make it so you can throw your favorite 135, 170, or 190mm O.L.D. 10mm solid axle hub into the rear end of a 142, 177, or 197mm spaced thru-axle frame. Add the adapters, add the wheel, install and tighten the nuts and, bam, you're ready to rip. Make sure the solid axle on your wheel is the right length for the frame spacing. For instance: 190mm OLD QR goes with 197mm thru-axle spacing.

Surly Racks are well-thought-out, durable, expedition-worthy racks that work with most panniers. While their racks aren't limited solely to heavy duty touring, that is what they were designed for. When you're out on the road, the best option is to never ever have anything ever go wrong ever. Right? That's never a guarantee though; so having something that you can repair if it does break can be pretty clutch. Thus, the main bodies of Surly's front and rear racks are made from tubular CroMoly steel with stainless hardware. This means you can probably find someone out there that can torch it back into one piece in the rare instance things go south. The Front Rack is height adjustable and provides either a low or high pannier mounting position, which can be handy depending on terrain. When the ground gets rough, keep your gear high and dry. When the path is smooth and easy, you can load things low and keep everything balanced and stable, with the platform above the wheel providing yet more space for more stuff. It's worth mentioning they've redesigned the Front Rack hardware to be simpler to attach and more compatible with things like disc calipers and fenders. Surly also made attachment plates specifically for their Uni-Crown forks for yet more fork compatibility. This simpler design has fewer moving parts and costs less to manufacture; ergo, costs less for you to purchase. Surly's front rack WILL work with disc brakes on the Troll, Ogre, and Disc Trucker frames. It may take a bit of work to get clearance around the front caliper since the many different calipers out there are many different shapes. The new attachment plates will limit any DIY ingenuity you might need, but if you need to throw a washer or three behind the lower left bolt where the plate attaches to the fork dropout, that's not a big deal. As part of Surly's ongoing effort to make this planet last a little longer, they recently started shipping their racks with a small, reusable Surly Tool Bag that houses the rack struts and hardware. This switch helps eliminate the use of some polybags, thereby minimizing excess waste. Plus, you get a free tool bag out of the deal. Surly's Stainless Steel Chainrings last longer than their aluminum brethern because the 304 grade metal they use is 35% stronger. The rings aren't pinned or ramped so when one side starts to wear you can flip it around and pedal some more! Surly Trailer Parts

Hurdy Gurdy is another nifty device that keeps a rear wheel from slipping forward in the dropout under pedal load. It's designed for the Cross-Check's semi-horizontal front-loading dropouts, and will also work on many other similar dropouts. Hurdy Gurdy is investment cast of stainless steel for durability and good looks, and shares many of Tuggnut's design features. Its two axle holes allow for a wide variety of fore/aft wheel positions, it will work with standard QRs, bolted axles, and nutted axles up to 10mm.
